Friday Faves v (On… Saturday)

It’s been a while since I’ve done a Friday Faves AND I’m posting it on Saturday. I have a wild side, people.

1. Frozen Blueberries in Milk

I don’t know if this is something that’s common or really off the wall because we’ve been doing it since I was a little. But pouring milk into frozen blueberries creates this sweet slush-like bowl of goodness that I can’t get enough of this summer. And how beautiful is it?!

This had me laughing and tearing up. WATCH IT.

3. Homemade “Eggos”

This whole grain waffle recipe is super good and we love storing a bunch in the freezer and toasting them. In fact, we may even prefer them re-toasted. YES to ‘Eggos’ that are laden with nutrients and void of hydrogenated ingredients!

5. Realizing That We All Have A Lot in Common

At work there are often clients visiting from abroad. Sometimes communication is pretty strained, but being able to interact with them has been such a reminder that we can connect on so many levels, even when we feel like we come from different universes. Whether it’s celebrating with someone when they get through an obstacle they were struggling with or taking a selfie with a teenage girl, I’ve loved leaving work feeling like the world is a little bit smaller than I thought it was.

Have a great weekend! <3

  1. The colour of the frozen blueberries is BEAUTIFUL! I’ve never thought of trying that. It’s like a smoothie without dirtying a blender… sounds like my kind of thing! Do you have it for dessert or a snack?
